Because dental implants are an outpatient procedure, the recovery process is typically focused on pain management and avoiding certain activities. Being said that, most of our patients have minimum discomfort after the procedure and in some cases they barely use their pain medications. Keep in mind that we will give you some pain and antibiotic medications at the time of the procedure that help your body have a seamless healing afterward. Your doctor will put you on a soft food regimen for a certain amount of time, to ensure proper healing of the implants.
